Hi and welcome!
My name is Halid, and this whole story started 4 years ago when I took Fashion design course at university because I had no other option 😁, and I designed my first bag. At that time I didn’t know much about leather or how to make something out of leather.
I completed the course, but never made the bag I designed, and went back to my ‘normal’ life, but the idea was stuck in my head that I always wanted to make one with my own hands.
I have always been a person who enjoyed making stuff with his fingers, and what started as a way to get away from the computer screen, soon turned into obsession where I spent hours on learning and perfecting my craft, to the point where it turned into the business when others saw the level of quality and detail that goes into my designs and products.
The feeling of making something with your hands and then sharing it with others who enjoy what you made is simply amazing, it fuels both sides, the customer, and me as well and it makes me proud to see satisfied customer with my designs and products.
Through my education and work as an architect, I always enjoyed simplicity, and I am trying to transfer it into my design of leather products.
What I am most proud of is the level of sustainability in my leather products. All of the leather I use is a by-product of food industry, so no animals are harmed for the production of leather. Tanneries I work with are part of the Vera Pelle Consortium in Italy - The Consortium acts as guarantor and ambassador of this Tuscan excellence, and the quality label (included with all our products) - guaranteeing quality and origin of leathers produced by its member tanneries.
